Whats peoples thoughts on them?

Purchased an old but low mileage 750cc version for when I've past my test. It will be primarily used for commuting about 100 miles a day on as it's old and cheap my theory is to have it for a year/two years and then upgrade to shiny Smile so in the meantime it wont matter if i drop/scratch this one.

My body shape (round) doesn't lean towards sports bikes and i dont think they would be comfy for that level of commute.

I'm planning on changing the rear light for clear lense and also the indicators.

What other improvements could i make to it ?

Reasonably bullet proof engine, decent tank range, fairing and screen give some protection for winter riding, drop it and it just looks better.

Just ride it. Don't bother spending money on it you will never add value.

Iirc it's a continuation of the kettle name given to old GT750's, which I believe were known as such because they were water cooled and known for overheating.

Isnt that what I've just come back from Milan with? I am finding it very easy to ride and wouldnt anticipate many mods even with a similar body shape (uber round).

edit: mine's a bit older than that, its a C reg.
Still, rideable as fuck - am out on it tomorrow Cool Thumbs Up

If it was from Milano then it's obviously a Moka Pot.

Just sayin'.

I would just give them a proper clean, pop in a new set of decent pads (I like SBS Street Excel Sintered) and then bleed through some new fluid.

I'm pretty sure Suzuki stuck Tokico 4 pots on those, not the decent Nissins that the Bandit 1200 got. They are not the greatest but it's a heavy old bike to stop and should be fine if properly serviced.
