hi, we are just about to clear our attic of camping gear. Bought everything new and have not been for 2 summers now.

Was going to put it all on ebay and gumtree as a job lot, if your interested i can email you over a list of what we have.

Pretty much everything you might need, i think we bought the tent in a sale for £250 so its worth a lot more (2 years old now but only used for one weekend) will get it all out with make and model etc.

Would be selling everything for less than £200 for sure.

anyway let me know if you are interested.

I just bought a Vango Omega 350, it's comfortable 3 man and should be more than enough for 2 people and 2 dogs. I don't know how attached you are to your dogs. but the porch is huge incase you want them in there rather than in the sleeping bit. Laughing The quality in the tent is great It packs up smaller and lighter than my old 2 man that was half the size if not less.

Bigger isn't better, aside from bigger being bulkier and heavier to carry It will not be as warm and will be more susceptible to damage from the elements.

Quality over quant, er size.

Of those the Vango 500 would be my choice, if you want to stand inside - which is desirable - everything gets much bigger.

The larger styles look a good idea but it can be tricky finding the bigger plot required especially when you are implying not using a proper site - or even finding a good plot in a crowded site bearing in mind guy lines etc
