carb problems ! Advice??

Morning everyone
Ok so on my bike I have a Vergaser PHCF 27.24 CS ( dellorto ) carb

It's attached to a Sachs x-road 125cc ( 6 speed Moroni 4t engine 08 plate)

I heard these have carberation problems sometimes I seem to have come to that point
When I open throttle slowly or quickly it splutters for a few seconds then kicks in its highly annoying and performance of the bike is being effected I suggest

If anyone would help me out by giving me some info eg:- how to clean . What to check . Also if anyone knows the jet sizes inside or how I could fine tune this item

I've listed some specs underneath and a stock image of the carb so you all know witch one I mean

Spark plug is black =-
I don't know what is default settings for this carb tho

If the plug is black it is probably running rich.
More than likely that the air screw has been wrongly adjusted.
Identify the airscrew, count how many turns out it is now.
If you want to get more air into the mixture you need to adjust this screw one way or the other.
You will be able to hear when the engine runs better.
If you can't find the correct settongs, on the web or in a manual, you will need to keep checking the plug colour until you get the correct colour.

I think a Plug Chop is needed.

Some snow machine dood has explained it here.

It needs a new plug, somewhere 'safe' to give the engine a hammering then kill the engine and whip the new plug out for inspection.
