55w HID kit arrived today, put it on my bike easily with the plugs and stuff but when I turn it on there is a squeal coming from the relay and no light. I have looked at the battery voltage and it doesn't change (when light switch turned on or off), could it be that the voltage is too high?
I read that the lamp needs a 20amp fuse or more but my bike has a 15A fuse overall, it hasn't blown or anything. Any idea what the problem is?

I know you have all been worying yourself sick that I won't have any lights but I have got them working, I turned the thing in the ballast to change the polarity and then they only worked on full, I moved the 3 pins untill the lights wouldn't work on low or high then swithced the polarity and they work great.
(just for anyone else who searches for "squeal" instead of HID troubleshooting ) |
