Poor idle and pulling off.

I bet you have heard this a million times but I can't find the answer.

Got myself a 08 DL1000 a few weeks ago its been grand till today.

After riding to work in the rain yeah the rain....idle was waving but not all the time and sometimes sounded like it was gonna die.

Spark plug caps has water got in? or could it be something else?

riding it later it was just fine I'd amuse any water had gone. If it happens again i'll record it.

Have a close look inside the caps.........over time, vibration, (and maybe spark erosion?), can damage the clip that fits onto the plug and then it shorts out when wet. You'll need a good light and something like a magnifying glass to get a proper look.

mine too started displaying the same issues on monday and hasn't got any better. time to get the wd40 out :/
