I have a python script that pulls a zip file from my host.

I suspect that cloudflare may be knocking the request back.

The target url is good, and the script works when directed to another site.

Browser integrity has been disabled from within cloudflare.

Any ideas?

is it expecting certain headers that your script isnt sending?

not sure if you ever use Postman? but I find this really useful for debugging Restful things https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/postman/fhbjgbiflinjbdggehcddcbncdddomop?hl=en

Haven't used cloudflare but would check that it isn't rejecting blank referer headers for files & that it isn't blocking an unknown/missing user agent as a potential malicious request.

I've found Charles helpful in the past. You can intercept and dick about with requests before sending them. Good for testing out ideas without the effort of coding.
