Im after a fairing for my cb500 rat, any cheap options about? Im thinking of finding the cheapest set of track fairings I can and butchering them with headlight/taillight etc

Couple of nasty old Rickman fairing on ebay just now.

Would lend it a hint of bosozoku depending on how you mount it. First one should fit pretty well.

If you keep your eye out, you sometimes get one still with a lighting unit. They were pretty good cibie sealed beam inserts as standard. Some even had a push-rod mechanism so they turned with the bars and lit up the trees on the outside of the corners.

Yep, they are the kind of thing I am after, the annoying thing is I have given identical and better ones away in the past! there are a few cheapies on ebay too but nowhere near local to me.

my idea is indeed a bosozoku/cafe racer ratter my ideal light unit would be like this one
