Aye he says he was looking too far ahead and missed it. Was raining quite heavy yesterday so lots of gravel today.

A lot of the time that is true, but, as already acknowledged by the unfortunate accident recipient, had the obvious been noticed then the 'off' would likely have been avoided.

It's a bit fatalistic to take the viewpoint that hindsight is a justification for a misjudgement that precipitated an unwanted outcome.

But as I already said, "meh", shit happens, and I have had my share of 'meh's Smile

Rash to rush the lane less travelled
where, through rain, has gravel channelled.
The outllook's grim, yet unravelled
for him --- presently unsaddled!

Crying or Very sad

You should post on a poetry forum.

Why do people post poetry just about any on the internet.?

I don't know if it is the in thing these days but happens a lot even here.

Well Embarassed... He sort of fell off again... In the same spot last week Embarassed this time he didn't get off so lightly broke his collar bone in 3 places and cracked a few ribs as he went over the bars. He is quite gutted to say the least, more of ego thing and "maybe I'm getting too old for this".
