Yes, a fully functioning adult moron who contributes to society, rather than hiding away from work and tax contribution, in some kind of Peter Pan eternal adult student skive.

You want to lecture everyone about how society should be funded, whilst contributing sod all yourself. It's irritating.

Opinions are like arseholes - Everyone has one, and some stink more than others.

Slippery slope there. Does that mean unless you're involved in the justice sector, you aren't allowed an opinion on sentencing guidelines etc? Unless you work in a supermarket, you can't have am opinion on pricing?

Who funds the justice sector? Oh yes, the tax payer.

Who buys from supermarkets? Oh yes, tax payers, retired tax payers or spongers funded by tax payers.

The people who pay for these services should have an opinion on the service provided. Those who expect others to pay for it for them, should have no say. Beggars cant be choosers.

So the people who are paying for the services in the case of supermarkets goods, should still and do get a say - if they don't like it, they go elsewhere. Laughing

I have no qualms whatsoever with people having an opinion, whether as users of services or contributors to services.

Hardly a lecture. It was a discussion on the role of taxation in society.

"At present" Laughing A sly qualifier wherein you admit I know exactly what it's like to be a taxpayer, and if you can do the simple maths you'll find it's been the case for the majority of my adult life. Believe it or not I'd already been bumbling around as an independent self-funded full sized human being for quite some time before I signed up to this forum.

A bit beside the point anyway really as its the sort of topic that should be taught or discussed in high schools so new generations know what the adult world is all about. Whether a person pays tax is neither here nor there when talking about it as a concept.

Indeed. Half or more of the theorists regarding almost any financial situation, Brexit, recession etc. Have fuck all real world experience. Same with medical researchers etc.

Doesn't mean their opinions are invalid.

If everything is based on a persons 'experience', we might as well halt the democratic process completely.

Observation fail. Those results don't add up to 100. There where clearly other options, we just don't know what they are.

Until the government admits the population is a damn sight higher than they are pretending, the NHS will always be fecked.

Must be up UKIP, and they're covering up their support. Conspiracy I tells thee!

Your memory needs refreshed.

https://www.comresglobal.com/polls/sunday-mirror-independent-political-poll-jan-2017/

It was a binary (OK, trinary) question:

Arrow Theresa May and the Conservatives would do a better job than Jeremy Corbyn and Labour at managing the NHS this winter = 43%
Arrow Jeremy Corbyn and Labour would do a better job than Theresa May and the Conservatives at managing the NHS this winter = 31%
Arrow None of those cunts Dunno = 26%

Comrade Corbyn might not be too insane, mind. In the same poll 57% of people agreed with salary caps.

Bear in mind though that the lazy methodology that almost all pollsters use tends to over-represent the views of spongers, scroungers, and stay-at-home Mumsneteers.

Pure autism in here, who cares ?

Although, thank you for taking your time, to look in to something that i already posted, the figures i were suggesting, are pretty much in line with all the other polling on the NHS.
