Hi there,

My first post! I'm here with a very practical question, hoping some of you know more about tires, which I don't. Wink

I own a 2005 XLR 125 R, a simple and fun little bike in excellent condition. As the 8kms of city area between my house and job seem to have changed in a continuous traffic jam, it could be a perfect solution for this daily waste of time (as I'm using my car now).

BUT; in rainy weather it is simply not safe enough, its standard tires don't stick well enough to the road, I've had some bad slidings already, nearly bad accidents.

Does anyone know a good replacement tire, preferably the more slick road type with softer rubber for rainy conditions?

Thanks a lot!

Peter

Assuming that the rear tyre width is 18" then one of these for the rear

I would assume that the front tyre is a 21",so one of these would be ideal
