Hi to all, at this moment I don't know which regulator to buy?

How all this started?

I was driving to lake, I shut down the bike and my friend and I noticed really bad smell coming from somewhere (that moment I didn't know what happen), so then after 2h relaxation we thinked that it would be good to eat somewhere (in a lake everything was okey apart smell), then I was not too far of eating point Very Happy, my bike temperature gauge started to move up and down fast if I accelerate it goes up if not goes down, neutral and oil bulbs was really shiny... After the lunch my bike won't start because there was no ignition. I take out the battery ant gave it to my friend which put in it acid and charged a little bit, after that I was good to go home BUT MY speedometer lights gone, rear and front light also was gone... Than I realised that my rectifier broke, it shown 18-19V charging. My main question is...

Is this battery good to use it or I should buy a new one? I bought it new this summer. It's yuasa brand but exactly replacement to original kmx 125 battery. Also (yuasa is the number 1 brand in motorcycle batteries)?

What rectifier to buy, original cost 150 EUROS, which is a really expensive to my, in the shop said that they could get CHINESE rectifier for about 30 euros (but I don't want to buy a low quality thing, it could broke soon I think or not?) Or I could find something on ebay?

There is some original but used ones, then it goes for like 90-120 dollars from england new (but are they the same quality as original, which cost 150 euros for me)?

Could original but used one rectifier overpass the chinase quality new regulator?

There is the link: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=kawasaki+kmx+125+restrictor&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xkawasaki+kmx+125+regulator.TRS0&_nkw=kawasaki+kmx+125+regulator&_sacat=0

Also, now need to replace all bulbs also to make sure all lights shines?

What about generator windings? Could this thing somehow broke them? How to check if it's okey? Maybe magnet too? I'm not good in electrical stuff Very Happy.

So a good advice would be really important. Thanks for reading Smile.

Faithfully,
Hard Driver

Replace the rectifier. A chinese pattern one should be fine.

You will now need to test that the battery hasn't been fried by the old rectifier. Try starting the bike. If all seems okay, then, hopefully, the battery is fine. You can check it is charging okay with a multimeter if you're unsure.

I would expect every bulb on your bike has been blown. It may be that a fuse or two has also been blown (check before you start the bike). Hope that helps.

So my regulator fucked up everything? Because my bulbs fucked up, battery too... What about magnet generator, generator windings? They should be okey yes?

But that happened because my regulator was just old yes? Or it could be another reason why that happened.
