I think we could be onto a winner with the ****book site.

Thinking about it, am sure they did something like this before. I have a brand new one sitting in my bathroom cabinet. I just got it because it had FREE in the title. Being a tight bastard I order one even though I don't wet shave.

Bump for results..

Only 7 days left until I brand them with the same iron as Milwaukee tools.

Anyone had one yet?

Restored this one myself; far more satisfying and a much better shave.

Basically this, I use single blade safety razor, not gone for cut throat yet, but the only thing I use one of these "lady shavers for men" is on my ballbag, because single blades are actually sharp unlike the 9000 blade Gaylettes, and I don't want to slice my balls open.

Just been on their site to get a free razor but unfortunately they are all away, however I did notice that a good few of their 9 models have BEARDS?!?!?!

Surely this is counter-productive advertising... Confused

Recommend a make/model? I was thinking of getting one myself. I've heard a good quality brush and hard shaving soap is a worthy investment too.

Always a badger brush, but really I think this is down to personal preference how much you spend, I didn't spend loads on one.

Taylor of Bond Street sandalwood shaving soap I quite like.

Razor, to be fair I was never sure if I was going to like it or not so I would suggest a cheap £10 one from Boots, which is this one
https://www.wilkinsonsword.co.uk/men/products/classic, however I buy blades from a mens shop in Cardiff, no idea the brand of blades but they are better than the Wilkinson ones.

I would try that first, you could spunk a load of cash on a razor and hate it.

Mine came in the post yesterday. Thumbs Up

I just put something stupid and girlie like "I want one cos my bloke shaves his head cos he is a geezer, and I wanted to give him a present to make up for pinching his razors when shaving my legs".

(no, really)

What scent does the DR Harris "Windsor essence" soap have?

I'm tempted to invest in a shaving bowl for the Prez, but the Arlington flavour (citrus and fern) so far has the most smell-appeal. I have visions of the Windsor one smelling of "4711" ...?

edit: whilst researching a picture to go with the 4711 tag, I got rather nostalgic for the smell of it and mooched about amongst the pictures ... found this Cool Cool
