I'm slightly expecting the new flavour of spammers who resurrect old threads with seemingly pointless posts to edit those pointless posts at a later date to contain links to whatever website they're advertising.

By doing that, the spam links are meant to fly below the radar and won't be noticed because when they edit the post no one apart from Google will see it.

The accounts need killing when they first drag up old threads with their pointless posts.

Well old thread or not I ended up deading a rat in the garden last week. old BSA something or other rifle I got second hand for the mrs 20 odd years ago and a cheapish sterling 3-9 x 40 wide view scope from the local gun shop. it's not been zeroed at the 30 foot range ratty was happily munching the bird food from. I usually zero a 12ft/lb air rifle for 30 yards and was probably last used to shoot stuff 15 years ago! Aim high by a couple of inches and hope, ended up with a perfect clean head shot and not so much as a twitch. I was rather impressed a 40 year old rifle with its original spring still worked as well as it did. Gamo make some good accurate cheap rifles but the std spring tends to go west after a year and need changing.
