Hi All

Passed my DAS mid June and have just bought a 2001 Bandit 600

Great website, tons of advice on search the threads! Looking forward to meeting some of you.

Uh, are you sure that's a 2001 Bandit? There's no blue anodised parts on it. Thinking

I don't know, we have such a small sample set of un-Barried Bandits with which to compare the typical example.

I was looking for a cbr 600f but the insurance was ridiculous, when I saw the Bandit was 120 for the year it was a no brainer and so easy to ride.

She has given me a few headaches already, I thought I had seized the clutch on my first ride, turned out to be the heated grips had moved and was blocking the clutch from being pulled.

Then she died on the a14 at Kettering, all down to a knackered old battery. A very kind biker stopped to help me driving a 4x4 pickup, if you are on here, thank you for stopping.


Since then I have done about 400 miles, and managed to go out with the wife to box hill this afternoon. Great roads and a great turn out in at the cafe.
