The forum has moved servers

Due to old age and impending hardware death, the forum has had to move servers. If you're reading this, then your browser is already talking to the new server just fine, and everything should be working as normal. Carry on as you were.

If you do spot anything that's broken or not behaving correctly, do let me know by posting in this thread. BCF is a complicated mess collection of databases, cronjobs, bots and really fucking old vintage forum software - there's bound to be something I've missed and is going to need fixing...

Right now, the forum itself is up and running again, but some things might be slower than usual until I've had a chance to tweak some performance configs. The search index is currently rebuilding, and will take a week or two (yes, really!) to do its thing, so right now you'll only be able to search using the Google box underneath the logo. The IRC bot is also not back up yet, but will return shortly.

The IRC bot is back up now, and should be working again.

As for the 5-10 second delays when opening a thread earlier, those should mostly be gone now. I need to let things settle for at least 24 hours now before doing any further performance tweaking.
