One of the parking lights is kaput so I thought it is a good time to upgrade both to LED.
Stock ones are 5W. LED equivalent is 1W I suppose.
Does it look ridicilous if I replace the current ones with 5W LEDs?

No they look OK in my opinion, just make sure you get one with the right light distribution to work as well as the original bulb.

R/H headlight as you look at it has just sidelight on in it.

Headlight bulbs are these btw.

theyre shit.
they dont have the same beam pattern as standard halogens so will blind everyone.

grr666 helpfully posted LED 5w side light bulbs and 'conventional' incandescent headlamp bulbs not LED headlamp bulbs.

If you have a suitable reflector then LED headlamps might work.
The problem in fitting non standard bulbs to OEM lamps housings is that the shape of the parabola for incandescent lamps is different from that for HID/Xenon etc. for several reasons. You can Google at away at it here.
