A bit costly, but certainly an item of lust...
Full details (figures are of course subject to fantasy):

Interesting that the front is listed as a 125/17.

It's nice.

I wonder if they do a comfort kit for it.

This kind of reminds me of that project. Where somebody had an RGV250 and they decided to put it on a diet and bore it up to 400cc.

That project never finished and the user left.

Not the kind of thing you expect the Swiss to come up with.

Looks not unlike an MZ 1000s styling-wise.

I wonder, if it's got a TCS or it will just smack you to the ground whenever you get past 70% of the rev range. Thinking
Everytime I saw a GP500 documentary, every rider said, that the bike is just perfect upto certain point, then if you pass that point to try to gain a bit more speed on the exit from a corner, it's a one way ticket to the ground and it is so quick you can't really do a thing about it. Must be thrilling to have a go on it, although I'd be never able to use its potential.

Well, that's what I said about the ZX7R and 919RR and now they both feel slow. Twisted Evil

I was wondering if it'd have TCS etc - not hard to add it if it doesn't.
But would it then ruin part of the experience knowing you could let the electronics sort it out?

For me I'd more like to try out a 250 GP or maybe a downgeared 125 GP on a larger go-kart track.
You could probably stay off-pipe on this bike and 'keep up' fine in a fast group on a trackday.

Yes it does, it makes a huge difference. Have you seen what happened to Pedrosa, when he lost the TCS during the race? The first corner and he went airborne.

Marquez touched Pedrosa's rear wheel with his front and ripped off the wire to the wheel speed sensor. Which meant full power on the rear wheel for Pedrosa.

I remember that incident and my point still stands that a tcs won't always stop a highside. Every 2 weeks you can see riders getting pinged out of seats that had nothing to do with snapped wires. Poor algorithms and rider error mainly.
What it would be like on an explosive 2 stroke engine I don't know. They're not known for giving linear power are they. Imagine the headache setting that up for a track...nevermind the road.
