Simple question and I expect simple answers.

Dropping your bike counts as yes.

Off road slip counts as yes.

No ifs no buts. Just answer yes or no please Laughing

EDIT: I see some No votes. I will assume these are Google bots and some people has hit the wrong button Mr. Green

Read the terms, dropping your mate's bike counts as yes too.

EDIT 2: IMO we can do much better

Agree you'd probably get more useful information by asking how many times, or average times per year over riding 'career'.

Probably averaged at least once a year since 2006, heavily weighted by the first 5 years Laughing

In over thirty years of riding a bike I have lost the front wheel at 5mph on gravel, lost the rear end at 15mph on oil going round a round about, collided with a pedestrian at 5mph (almost stopped when she walked from behind a bus and she walked into the side of my bike), Ran over a pedestrian at 30mph when he was pushed out by his mates into the road. Hit a wall going round a bend on the Cat & Fiddle doing silly speeds, dropped the bike at a petrol station because the floor was wet and that is all my little mishaps over the years all except the petrol station done in the first 10 years of riding.

Dropped a bike a couple of times on a try-your-hand-at-off-road thing. Also laid mine down during a manoeuvring incident. But properly crashed, whilst riding... no. Voted 'yes' though, because rulez.

I crashed the same bike 5 times when I was 17, including a couple of reasonably big ones, so I voted yes despite them being in a different lifetime.

Dropped my ZZR trying to get it onto the centre stand a few months after having it.

When I got the CG and bringing it home from the failed MOT, I pulled out from a side road and the back end came right round. Wooden tyres and the raw power of that 1983 single cylinder machine. That was about 0.1 mph and the "fall" was less harsh than falling from my office chair.

1 x Bus reversed over me and bike. Not overly sure if that counts.

1 x Lost front wheel while trying to mount a kerb at an odd angle in ridiculously deep snow. Definitely counts Laughing

Regularly on winter commutes years back, in snow, ice, rain. No proper gear back then, just coal board wellies, jeans, combat jacket. Didn't even have any gloves for a time one winter, (no wonder my hands are fucked now). Plenty gravel rash, one possibly broken wrist, ( they couldn't decide from the x ray, so potted it anyway). My boss at the time was a star, he'd let me bring the bike into the mechanics shop and fix it up so I could get home ok. Even put the other blokes onto my section of machines so I could get it done.

Just once this century, on the Isle of Man. Got the bend badly wrong and went up the verge, then back on the road. My mate was behind me, and he was in a worse state than me, he had to sit down for ten minutes before he'd get back on his bike, and he wasn't the one with the gravel rash. (bike had minor fairing rash, slight exhaust scrape, bent brake pedal and brake lever)....but rideable.

Destroyed my lovely LC 250 of lovelyness, back in the day of Freddie Spencer.
Long wide bend and all of the power?, err that`s not good? as the back wheel overtook the front wheel Shocked

Many other smaller "offs" since, so I can say YES

That doesn't count (cos' otherwise I could count five crashes in the last five years with my Zed, the last one being ten days ago Sad ).

A crash is something like low siding a Z400 under the front of a BP fuel tanker whilst one goes bodysurfing down the white line.... Embarassed
Or getting T'boned when a twunt driver ignores a light that has been red for at least 10 seconds... Evil or Very Mad
Or high siding a moped on a Dartmoor raised bank... Embarassed
Grabbing a handful of front brake? Embarassed
Then you've got classics like poor obs whilst overtaking and t'boning an XR3i turning right... Embarassed

I may have crashed once or twice (but 15 is probably closer to the mark)... Laughing

5 guys voted No???

I have to say I am pleasantly surpised and in the same way gobsmacked Shocked

Who are you people reveal yourself?

Are you real people or just some google bots are messing with my poll Laughing

I kind of expected to have 100% yes vote here.

Yeah, this poll is totes poo-dash.
I'm not answering, cos the word "crash" is pejorative, man.

It gives the impression of like big bumps and falling-offery with much pain and broken bikes.

I've come off, yeah, but never actually crashed, like big-time
*hastily touches wood in superstition mode*

Dinged a bike off a car once, and then dropped it, own stupid fault,

Some extraordinarily drunken gonk wandered out in front of me on Brompton Road once, causing me to put the bike down and bump my knee.

Assorted other prangery.

... but nothing big style smashy that warrants the word "crash".

I kind of expected to have 100% yes vote here.

I was nearly tempted to put "No" myself, geez.
But as you can see, I've admitted to a couple of what I don't really consider crashes per se.

The question was no ifs no buts. Small time bumps and tiny cuddly wuddly beary boo bike drops count as yes.

I am kind of better now knowing we have some false Nos here Mr. Green

EDIT: apparently this was Yes answer, so I am still depressed who are you No people?

Dropped one when I hadn't put side stand down properly. Dropped another at 1mph when I rolled to a stop on an adverse camber. Off-road as a youth, 10+ crashes in a field

Had I clicked a response to the poll, then most likely it *would* be a Yes answer - but I haven't. I think you have plenty of answers to show a reasonable spread of votes. You don't need my piddly little argumentative vote Laughing Thumbs Up
