Thanks again for the help in the last thread, this time got some things I'm wondering about.

My bike performance is fine, but the engine sounds spluttery across revs from 4,000-7,000... Performance doesn't seem to be affected but I don't know how to phrase it, the engine sounds normal, but there's a spluttering alongside the engine sound. It's very quiet and I really doubt if a camera could pick it up to be honest. Anybody know what I'm talking about?

Second thing is if braking firmly with the front brake, the handlebars push down with the fork seals, nice and smooth, and they come up relatively smooth too, they don't stick, but they do seem to knock back once I've completed braking and the weight is taken off the front wheel. Can't really remember it doing this before.

Thanks guys. You're all lads. Have some e-cookies on me.

Second thing is head bearings, relatively easy to adjust.

First thing could be anything, need to know more about the bike, standard exhaust? Has it been serviced recently?

Ah thanks, I'll look that up!

No recent full service, but it's had both calipers serviced and oil change with castrol.

2nd things is head bearings. Very very easy to adjust. Just don't do them up too tight.

The first things is likely something blocked. The breather hoses for the tank are easy to get trapped on this bike, but I'm guessing it's not this because it's not getting worse with revs. My prime guess would be slightly blocked idle or/and main jets. They get very very easily blocked.

To echo previous posts, the second thing sounds like head bearings.

I had to tighten mine up recently too.
