YZF-R125 is a nice bike, no doubt about it. However, in your shoes, I'd probably go with the ped till you are 18, then spend anything up to £1200 on a second hand japanese bike instead of lashing out on a 'supersport' 125.

Rag the tits off the second hand bike, buy another second hand bike to piss around with and squeeze the performance from (being aware of the legal restrictions of course Wink) then go for a sports bike once you can get on to more CCs.

Welcome aboard, btw.

Cheers man but i do want a 125 to start with i'm a really big car guy and recently got into bikes so might find there not for me. I get what your saying so probably will be second hand and cheap for the time being.

buy second hand, take runs well above age. I'm sure you are a car person really with the favouring colour over everything else, but unless you have significant track experience I doubt you have more than aspirations of being a car guy.

ow-my-eyes orange appears to have been height of fashion in the 90s, appears to be a reliable price differentiator on 90s bikes. Bonus points for bad kanji vinyl

So I like cars yeah.. but bikes are almost as good... tbh working on cars makes me not want to come home and send time on one and bikes are new and interesting.
