I'm in the market for a new headset since this Razer Krakens wire has become loose and starting to think it's plugged in / not plugged in all the time, which is essentially what has happened with every wired headset I've owned eventually.

I had a Logitech G930 wireless before this (issue was the USB charge port after 1000's of plug in/outs, became loose and wouldn't charge).

Needs to have a mic attached for Skype, etc.

Anyone using one / got a personal recommendation? Don't really care about price if it's decent.

If you want a microphone attached, I assume you will use them for computer gaming / conversations, and not for music. Also, I assume you want some close headphones.
Considering those facts, I guess a good pair of headphones are the Pioneer SE-MJ561BT-S.
Pioneer does some pretty good stuff, and they should be comfortable to use even for long time.
Another good candidate is the Creative Sound Blaster Tactic360, specifically for gaming. Creative is quite good at that Smile

Hope it helps!

I have a pair of Corsair Vengeance
https://www.corsair.com/en/vengeance-2100-dolby-7-1-wireless-gaming-headset

They were a little heavy at first, but soon got used to them.
They are a little large for my lady-sized head, but a male person shouldn't have a problem, They fit my OH fine.
Charge lasts a few hours, an audible beep when they need a recharge.
Can use them while recharging. (wired to your device of course).

Had mine for about a year now, no rubbing/degrading of materials. Sound is perfectly fine for me, no crackles/interference.
The charging port still feels as fixed as ever. Have been charged a lot.

The sound will drop if I leave the room, but it's bluetooth and 2 walls to the kitchen, so expected really. Never drops within room range.

Haven't used the mic much, but when I have it's been as expected.

I game very lightly these days, if at all and mostly use for Skype / Watching movies. Don't really listen to music in headphones, switch to speakers for that.

I would probably never buy Creative sound products again, got a pair of Tactics Rage I bought a few years ago to replace my G930 when it was being fixed under warranty and found it to be one of the worst headsets I had ever used.

I think I had the Corsair vengence wired headset a few years back too, quite liked them so will check out your link.

I had creative headphones years ago and I remember they were really good. Maybe the quality dropped. Never had Corsair though. Why you don't go to a shop and ask them to try some model?
