It's been pretty obvious from the outset.

Colleges expected ever increasing funding and spent loads of money buying new buildings and super expensive Macs.

Then it suddenly got cut.

Then tory got in and said ah we're not cutting money but the students can now take loans to pay for courses so it's not a real cut!

2 months ago there was a 50mil cut and a 4% budget cut. November is a 40% cut from 16+ education (next tax year). It's going to be a mess.

How about they start spending money wisely then.....

Plymouth Uni has a tremendous hardon for copper fucking roofs. Each new building they throw up has this ridiculous copper roof that costs multi-millions. I believe their first one was £8m.

The Uni is/was spending my money, it should be like the govt, where everything should be targeted towards getting the job, in this case education, done in the most efficient way possible.

Jizzing money away on muh roof and countless other moneys sinks should not be tolerated. It's almost as if when you don't have to pay for it yourself, you start spending other peoples money on useless shit... Where else in the world can this behaviour be seen...

Individual universities should be funded by a direct tax on their own graduates.

Discuss. [10 points, use both sides of the paper if necessary]
