I have just had to make the horrible decision to not go this year Sad .
I have had a lack of work/monies over the last couple of months and it would be silly to spend cash getting there/getting in/buying stuff when I have a reduced income at the moment.

I`ve got that day off as well Evil or Very Mad

Hi

Will be going. As only about 5 miles away it would be silly not to.

All the best

Katy

I live 4 miles from the Showground, I think I'll make the effort to miss it.

Several times, get a bit fed up seeing the same 'Trailer Queens' every year that never see the road accompanied by smug anoraks hanging about just to hear the "Ooh lovely" comments pretending not to hear them. If you're searching for parts it could be useful but keep an eye on the prices asked, they're looking for mugs to fleece.

I've only been once, so not tired of it yet, but if it's the same bikes every time then I can understand your point, and probably won't go every year.

The fact that many are garage queens doesn't bother me - more like visiting a museum for me.

Came close to buying an RD350LC there last year, was about £2800-ish iirc, quite good cosmetic condition, no idea how well it ran, but would have been a nice little tidy up project.

Lol about the smug anoraks! Very accurate!

Would still give it a high recommendation if you haven't been before. £13 on the day for a ticket is good value.
