Fuel/Oil Sensors Not Working

Have had a lot of electrical problems recently but have resolved all but two. The fuel and oil senors don't read empty. I have stripped both sensors down and they have a circuit board inside with two chips top and bottom.

I have checked the resistance with a multimeter and it sits around 612 but when I put some pliers across them the resistance drops to around 600 and if you short the wires out on the bike the light comes on so I am pretty sure its the sensor.

So both sensors work and have resistance but they don't read when in the bike.

Don't really know were to go from here so any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

What bike is this for?
