That's a lot of (new-ish) bike for £1700, 7.5k miles.

Not that I can justify any other vehicles (I suppose ) and I'd definitely want to test ride one first. Copy of the ER6, but they're claiming it's 220kgs ... surely that can't be right?

Chinese copies generally seem to be heavier - presumably to make up for the poor metal quality they have more of it/heavier versions.

At that price it is getting to justifying it's self over "just get a second hand SV650s" which is my normal answer.

A chunk over 50% depreciation in no more than two years? Ouchie.

The issue I have is that they've made a poor copy of a terrible bike.

The ER-6 is so bloody boring to ride. Theres worse bikes out there, but they at least have a character. Beige, bland, dull. Everythings "alright" nothing stands out.

The power delivery is linear, boring. The bottom end torque is alright. Its a very very dull motorcycle to ride.

You could wheelie a Bandit 600 everywhere with minimal effort, loose sportsbikes with lesser skilled riders on em. Same with an SV650. Neither are great bikes. Anyone can spin the back wheel up on a big bike in wet weather by being hamfisted with the throttle or riding cold/poor tyres.

Its a poorly styled bike thats boring to ride. Its practical and filters well, but thats it. Nothing special, bland and boring.
