Had a similar problem with mine, and 40mm bar risers fixed it.

Some are specific, but some are common to many makes and models - google knows Wink

Why has height got anything to do with wrists? And hasn't the Z750 got bars and not clip ons?

You shouldn't be leaning on your wrists at all, you should be holding on with your legs and your core. You should rest almost no weight on the bars.

"shouldn't" being the operative expression there.

Not everybody rides as they should.

I don't quite suffer with dodgy wrists (yet) but I would certainly say that I ride with a lot of weight on my wrists. Not because I am tall (quite the reverse) , it's just "the way I ride", i.e., "hunched", probably Laughing

I'm also brutally rough on footpegs, for some bizarre reason. Shifty

This - it's like having a dodgy wheel bearing and just avoiding bumpy roads rather than fixing the wheel bearing.

Consider some of the tank-grip stuff if you do lots of proper braking.
I've been much better at trackdays this year (though haven't done many for a good few years to be fair) with my new tank-grip-pads. Do have to remember to make an effort to grip with your legs, of course.

Which you can raise with bar risers.

To my enfeebled mind there's a good chance that cheap 'universal' risers will work as long as your bar clamps aren't wacky, as they're sized to the radius of the bars. It'll depend on the exact position of the bolt holes though.

Worst case, eBay / PayPal and distance selling returns should see you right if you don't scuff them up.

There are bike specific ones for the Z750 but they seem to be really expensive, around £80 Shocked

If you really feel the need to fit risers it wouldn't work out too expensive to put some Rox Risers on. They will give you a 2" rise and allow back/forth movement of the bars. Like this:

Still cheaper option is a set of Renthals with a higher rise.

There are plenty of options for 'generic' bar risers, typically for dirt bikes, one of which will probably work.

Most 'normal' bikes have 7/8" bars, so should hopefully be able to find a more generic option than the above for the weak-backed Smile (apart from some dirt bikes which justify fatter middle sections though still are 7/8ths are the ends - also the same for push bikes.)

I've recently fitted some of these to one of my bikes:-

https://i1213.photobucket.com/albums/cc464/KeithBouncer/Bike%20items%20for%20sale/61B40F48-DEAE-4DF3-B0CE-2924D2C83988_zpst5zheenn.jpg

They're good quality and are a universal fit, providing that the bar clamp centres are around 35mm apart.
Bear in mind that after fitting bar risers you may need to source and fit longer brake hoses, clutch and throttle cables etc. I got around this problem by fitting flat bars to the risers (work that one out)!
