I'm sure their real owners will be well used to receiving the NIPs by now.

As Dibble says, no-stop policy = nothing to lose by riding on stolen / cloned / random plates. It's the law abiding that are the mugs.

The portrait footage on that first link was criminal.

At least they're not fighting - it's not as bad as mods vs rockers in the olden days. And there really isn't any "chaos". Roads don't get blocked, other road users aren't held up. If you want "chaos", look at the gridlock caused by roadworks for the super duper cycle lane on the Embankment https://tfl.gov.uk/travel-information/improvements-and-projects/east-west-travel-advice

The first vid, apart from being portrait, didn't look that bad. A couple saving rubber and some daytime only / not for road use bikes on the road at night. But an awful lot of bikes just riding in convoy, seemed harmless enough.

The second vid on the other hand. WTF Shocked

Disturbingly similar to the USA examples, obviously copied. Not good.

Make an obvious police roadblock, chuck out a few stingers front and rear, job done. Send my Special Forces badge care of BCF.

They won't use stingers because that will cause the door darlings to fall off and scrape their elbows.

Cunning array of stunts.

Surely it's fine to stop a quad, preferably with piano wire at neck height.

In the raw footage at about 20 mins the person doing the filming is talking on the phone. I can't work out what they're saying - even if I slow the playback right down all I get is an unintelligible Donald Duck impression.

That's around my way. They're a bunch of arseholes.

I'm not all that concerned about the police leaving them alone, it makes them even more cocky, even more of them ride without helmets and ride straight into oncoming traffic with no lights on.

That should put a few them in comas and coffins, far better than wasting public resources on arresting and detaining them.

It's far better for them to kill themselves on their own than to kill themselves when chased by the Polis. In the latter case there has to be a long, expensive inquiry and the officer doing the chasing gets loads of grief. If I was a traffic officer and was told to go and pursue these muppets I think I'd get a puncture.

A bit harsh on the vehicles that they're going to end themselves on.

There's lamp posts at least every 200 yards.
