I'm trying to figure out how to wire the neutral light on the aftermarket speedo so that it goes off when in any other gear according to the stock wiring it should be blue and orange wires blue to the gear selector and orange to the ignition. Now on the aftermarket speedo I have just a green wire for the neutral gear light so how does that work this is for a gs 125 or as some of you may know the fag bike lol

I could look up the wiring diagram but CBA right now
Most neutral lights work by supplying power to the bulb/led
at turn on and the switch completing the circuit to ground when in neutral
thassit really

Looks like you need to connect the green wire from the new speedo, to the blue wire coming from the old switch.

You need to determine if the new speedo supplies +12v or earth to one side of the bulb - whatever it is, you will need the opposite polarity on the wire that goes to the other side to light the bulb.

From the wiring diagram, it looks like the switch on the gearbox connects the wire to earth when neutral is selected. If your new speedo needs +12v instead, you will need to use a relay to supply the correct voltage to complete the circuit.

Thats a GN125 diagram but probably has the same function as
a GS125 whatever that is.
Info on this new clock needed as most bikes use the method I described above and if they made a clock that ignores this convention its probably a shite one that wants binning.
You can make an invertor to give a positive going signal when the neutral switch closes to ground, but you shouldn't have to.

Don't know if this is related but when I put my foot on the brake all the lights come on I spoke to a guy about and he said it sounds like you need a diode does that sound right as the rear lights are led aswell

All of what lights? The lights on the new dash, the lights on the bike itself, or both?

As for the new dash and the neutral light - just wire up the red and black wires, and experiment with the green wire. What makes the bulb come on - a live, or an earth?

It will be one or the other, so whichever it is, that's what you need coming from the neutral switch.

So what does the output of the neutral switch give you? a live, or an earth?

Every light excluding the indicators

The only wire that make the neutral light come on is the orange wire but it won't switch off when in any other gear so what do I do
