Potential speeding ticket

What a bastard, just over 40 in a 30 zone and I saw the flashes in the mirror. Leaving Canary Wharf under the tunnels heading back towards town. Anyone know if they are reliable for tickets or just pretend? I read some flash but don't send post.

I'm waiting for some bad news after being flashed on Brixton Road the other day. I'm hoping I'll get the speed awareness course. They offered it to me in January for a similar offence but I didn't reply quickly enough so the offer was withdrawn and I got the points. Will they offer me the course this time around, or have I missed my chance?
