Hi everyone I'm new
New to bike riding as I just past my test and new to bandits....
I bought a 650cc bandit 06 plate and I like it but I don't think it is completly original as I am starting to find out....I have noticed that 06 bandits have black engines but mine is silver and mine has gold forks...also I have read that 06 are oil cooled but mine is water or liquid cooled...is this normal are there alot of variants...thanks

Pretty sure 2006/7 was the changeover year so you may just have a factory built early 650 water-cooled.

wemoto / wisebuyers suggests that the GSF600 stopped at K4 and the GSF650 started at K5. So there's nothing suspicious about a 2006 water cooled 650.

Bear in mind that Suzuki in particular seem to have a lot of New Old Stock kicking around, so there's nothing suspicious about a 2006 registered 600 either.
