Just came across this:

New service from the 'Gov.
Seems pretty good, got all my cars details on there, maybe even some minors / advisories you didn't know about!
All you need is your reg and the vehicle make.
Looked up some of my previous cars and the fail list is lulworthy.
Also has mileage on there, so well worth checking for free if you're buying a bike.
