Hello guys! After searching near enough everywhere for some sort of a diagram for the wiring loom of a Lifan SG125-14F i've stumbled across this bike chat forum which seems to be the answer to my problem so i am hoping that you guys will be able to help me out!
I have a Lifan Skygo SG125-14F which i got about a year ago. it was pretty much dead and only in the past few days i've actually started work on it! (Yes i know it may no be worth it but me and a friend were looking for a project )
So the full wiring loom has been stripped out, after a close inspection i could see that some total idiot has worked on it previous to me and has made nothing but a mess, 50% of the wires weren't even connected like I'm surprised that the thing actually started in the first place
I'm taking on the challenge of redoing the full wiring loom from scratch myself, I'm skilled and have knowledge in electronics but the only problem that I'm facing is that i can't find and wiring diagrams anywhere!! i've already re-wired all the gauges and know all the pinouts for them but now comes the challenge for the rest!
If anyone knows any sources, pictures, forums, books or anything of the story that will inform me for the wiring, it would be fantastic as the project has came to a hault until i do find something
I guess the only other alternative would be to buy a new loom but that's 70 pounds alone when i have all the resourses to make my own
If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated!
Sorry for making this so long, I'm not too good with keeping things short and simple haha!
Thanks again! |

Sadly, wiring diagrams for the approximately 8 million models of Chinese copybike are few and far between, and wire colouring can be whatever was handy that day.
They're pretty simple and generic bikes though and I'd suggest this HN125-8 diagram as a starting point.
However, your bike appears to be a branding of the LF125-14F with a very unusual water cooled version of the CG-copyengine. I hope you didn't strip the wires out of the thermostat and water pump connectors, or at least took a note of the colours before you did so.
A cheeky suggestion - you could buy a loom from CMPO, copy it, then return it. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
