Hi All!

Just picked up a 99(I think) ZX6R G1
It's done 24k miles and the engine and fairings are in pretty good nick.

Headstock bearings are shot, and has original brake lines.
Forks aren't leaking, but i'm considering rebuilding them while im in there.

Really, i'm going to be looking for a shed load of replacement parts so I can do all the work in one hit... I'm going to want all the below parts, from a cheap but reputable seller and decent OEM quality parts...

I normally use eBay, or Wemoto, or manufacture OEM parts

Im going to need;

Tapered headstock bearings
Front brake seals (FULL SET Sad )
Front Braided Brake lines
Front Wheel bearings
Front fork seals
Front tire
Chain and sprockets
Rear bearings/carrier bearings
rear tire

Obviously it'll all add up fairly, so who sells reasonable priced parts, that are tough and reliable?

Thanks guys!

You can either get the whole lot off Wemoto, which will cost a little more but be easy, or you can spend ages hunting around ebay trying to knock pennies off each part and then wait for 10 different things to come by post.

Except the tyre. If you have a decent local tyre shop, go there. Otherwise one of the online tyre sellers.

I'm in no hurry.
The difference of headstock bearings is £12, from Wemoto to eBay. for the same brand - So across all of the above items that could work out to being £40...

As for the tire's, I agree - They normally fit for free if you buy from, and normally cost like £10 more than online places....

Sounds good, looks like i'll be trawling ebay and Wemoto unless anyone knows any other reputable resellers like wemoto?

Good choice! If it's a G1 it'll be a 1998 model but might have been registered in '99. Not much difference anyway. Wemoto and eBay for me too.

If it lives up to the same as my old ZX6R F2, then it'll be a fantastic bike!
