I hate the headlight. It looks like a hole to stuff some sausage in to, like its accepting cock.

I can't say I like the litre Honda IL4s... a little too linear but horses for courses Thumbs Up

you got cock on the brain .. are you on starvation rations or summit
Wink
i`ve been around the block in the last 2 years ..
cannot get my head round the power delivery of a tripple .. kicks in far too early and is too harsh waitin for back wheel mto break loose .. cannot even bimble around in low revs / higher gear ..
V twins are too snatchy .. though more controllable / predictable..
but don`t rev. up..

back to what i know / familiar with..
i`ve had four hondas and the power delivery is as you describe .. thank fcuk.. Dance!

So how was the test ride compared to the MT09?

well after 240 miles i can answer this..
its a competent all round machine, the suspension is a little firm but compliant..

The narrower bars and slightly forward seat/handle bar positioning suits me better..
Particularly if your inclined to lean over the tank on occasion..
Handles better than the mt-09 no wollowing on uneven roads...

Brakes are good with a positive initial bite..

Power delivery is smooth and un flustered what ever gear your in or speed...
MT-09 was harsh particulary in the lower gears but the uppers were not much different either...
The honda went down to 30mph in 5th and no issued pulling away smoothly....

No power surges on roundabouts or feelin like the back wheel is gonna break loose or going up and down on the suspension..when you wind it on in the lower revs...

does exactly what it says on the tin..

Easy to live with..a good commuter bike...
Some will find its mild manners not to their tastes..

As with any un-faired bike motorway wind speeds become tiring not that i`ll be doing much of that on this machine.

47.5 mpg and space under seat for a 2 peice lock... Thumbs Up
