hi all totally new here but in need of help soooo badly

ive got a 1979 Honda cb 125 with a cg engine and i need to find the right parts for it

the vin on the bike obviously wont tell me what engine model or year but the engine number is JC18E-5003788

ive tried a good old google search and think its a 1994-96 engine but not too sure Confused

any help would be much appreciated Smile

Ye it's a great help just confirmed by what I thought .....but I do still need to find out what ignition type it had originally .... think the previous owner put the cb points on the engine to avoid changing the wiring loom from a 6v to 12v and I want to ....Just trying to find out if I can put a 12v stator and cdi unit on it Smile

(p.s. I don't mind rewiring the whole bike)
