Help please...I need to change my bike's battery.

I have this alarm fitted. https://www.datatool.co.uk/home/products/S4C1

Do I need to do anything special to the alarm settings before replacing the bike battery?

thanks

You need to find out how to put the alarm in Service Mode using the fob.

Service mode is a special mode that make the alarm beep every so often in order to drive you crazy.. Smile

If you remove the battery without 'disabling' the alarm it will go off it's head.

YOu can find the manual on datatool's website.

Yes you need to enter the alarm in "immobilised only" or "winter mode" otherwise when you remove the battery alarm will be triggered.

Press grey button -> Ignition On -> press both grey and black buttons for 10 seconds -> Ignition Off -> You can change the battery.
