Don't eat, lose weight, lean as far over the handlebars as possible, keep the left hand firmly attached to left fork at all times, don't use the clutch, it will slow you down. Ride with your right foot on the pillion peg, remove rear brake, everyone knows they drag slightly all the time, causing a loss of about 3mph for every 10mph, e.g. at 20mph, you should be doing 26mph, 30mph should be closer to 39mph etc. With the back brake removed, you should start to notice an immediate effect.
After that, you can start thinking about a smaller number plate, or even none at all, which would be better for air flow and aero-dynamics. After that, look for the fattest tyres that will fit in the frame, this will provide extra grip, meaning you can get moar powah to the ground at all times. You could consider removing all the plastics to reduce weight as well.
After you've done all that, waht you'll want to do next is get a Derbi Senda DRD 50, which you should have done in the first place, what the hell is an LSM 50? Then stuck a ParmaKit 110 in it, found a pipe for a standard 2t 125, figured out the cone angles of the chamber, total volme etc. cut to length to suit the 110cc engine. But of course you knew that and fancied the challenge? Just wait a few months and get a 125.
I know it's hard when you're 16 and it seems like forever and you spend each evening outside the chippy arguing the toss over who's clock is the most accurate and that you did once see 47mph on de flat 'onest, blud. Everyone wants the fastest moped but no one has any money so you start cutting wires for no reason Removing air filters and replacing them with nothing, cutting silencers off, drilling holes in expansion chambers. 'Cos more noise is moar powah, enit?!
Then what happens is weirdo's like me come along that love mopeds, but can't find one that hasn't been hacked up for no reason with absolutely no gain and in fact a loss.
