Hi all,

I'm planning on using my honda CG 125 for commuting over the wet weather (but not icy weather) and wondered which tyres would be best for this.

The rear tyre is a Michelin Gazelle M62 3.00-17 and the front is a Cougar 2.75-18.

I had read that the best tyres for small bikes are Michelin Pilot Street. I picked up a 2.75-18 for the front but couldn't find a matching tyre for the rear so I'll probably sell it as I don't want to mix tyres.

Can anyone recommend something I can get a pair of which works well in the wet?

The Cougar tyre that's on there right now is nylon and looks to have about as much grip as a Lego tyre.

Original spec is 2.50-18 front and 3.00-17 rear.

The choice is limited on branded tyres as per any significant difference in performance.
I don't notice any performance issue between wet or dry.
