Put in a request to join the Scottish group a couple of weeks ago, but nothing has happened. I had a look around and found that the group moderator (Mr.Everready) hasn't posted since June 2013. (I assume the group mod does the additions.)

Is there a way to be added to the group?

I've never been sure why the regional forums are special-access anyway.

On the subject of regional forums, IMO there should be a London specific bit, the SE section gets used for that purpose but lots of the SE is far from London.

London is a big place. I'm 25 mins from it. Over an hour and half from the other side. SE is king. Don't forget it.

If you want a London group just set a thread and ill sticky it

I agree - thread started! I'm not too interested in things happening in the broader SE - a London-specific part would be a lot more useful for me.

Looks like I'm having the same sort of issue in the Midlands section.
Put a request in when I joined the other day, but still waiting.

Who's palm do I need to cross with silver?

Old Thread Alert!

The last post was made 3 years, 267 days ago. Instead of replying here, would creating a new thread be more useful?
