Share your 8-bit games, be it modern or retro

After having a browse on Steam today, I came across this little game for the princely sum of 15 pence -

https://store.steampowered.com/app/263980/

"Inspired by Cave Story, Super Metroid, and Portal, you play an explorer stranded on a dangerous alien planet. Low on fuel, your only hope for escape is to find the planet’s core in this incredibly clever action-puzzle-platformer."

One I used to play a lot in the 1980's on a pub's arcade machine, can't remember what it was called but it was a levels game where you play a Ninja rescuing trapped girls from Japanese themed monsters and Samuri. The best thing was that it was a two player co-operative game, so you and a mate could battle the monster together. With a bit of practice we could play an entire lunch break for a quid (plus beer).

I still play Rolland in the Caves, from the CPC 464

I also still enjoy the Wild Bunch again for the CPC and also the Spectrum.

They're others too like Gaunlet, Bomb Jack etc.

Jet Pac,or was it Jet Man? on the Spectrum was addictive, the famous crappiness of the Spectrum load speaker meant the best sound effect they managed when you shot one of the aliens was something akin to a short sweaty fart.
