ok, so was moving bike on the drive yesterday and foot slipped... bike leaned too far... had to put it down gently.

looked wet around top of carbs like it may have leaked slightly.

starts and idles fine.

if open throttle, it rises to 4k, then stops for a second and then revs as normal right to the top.

the hesitation at 4k sounds like if you let off the throttle as if you've done 2 different revs on purpose rocking on and off the throttle..

any ideas? Crying or Very sad

Take it out, give it the beans and report back.

I had a cbr 250 back in the day that did the same thing a couple of times when it fell over.

As noted taking it out and giving it a good run fixed it.

Does bike have carbs?

Could just be the carb bowls have emptied. Does it have a tap with a prime position? If not then you could start up bike and let it idle to give the bowls time to fill up.
