At the risk of sounding a bit wet my bike has a set of scorpion cans on and they're too loud. Even with earplugs in the damn things are giving me a headache.

I'm also new to bike maintenance and what-have-you so I'm not sure if I need to replace the cans (?) or the whole exhaust bit?

Do I need to be looking for OEM parts or are there alternatives that aren't as loud but still give a bit of welly?

This is them:

I guess they have removeable baffles? If not, I'd suggest buying some Universal ones off eBay to see what impact they have.

TIL what baffles and mufflers and silencers are.

Seems the previous owner removed the baffles hence why it sounds like a blue whale farting. Ordered some new ones from Fuel.

Why not just pop some ear plugs in. Gonna remap for fuel ones?

Already using earplugs and they're making some difference but not enough.

Not sure about the remapping, either. I've seen some scary prices.
