Was in a takeway a few nights ago, ordering the finest* chicken burger in the city centre when a lad comes in an offers me an my mate coke - bold as brass, in front of other people.

when we said "nah its ok" he offered us a free stripe, when we said no again he asked the bloke behind the counter for some paper an gave me his number an said "giz a ring if you fancy a try"

Shocked

*i mean shittest

still got the number if anyone wants some

Meh. Dealers hand out business cards during freshers week at major unis.

Fairly recently I had a guy pull his car up alongside me while walking home, asked if I smoke weed, to which I said no, so then he asked if I do any harder stuff, to which I again said no. He called me a boring bastard and drove away.

Little does he know I used to be one of the biggest drug-taking wasters in my little sphere of existence when I was 19. Very Happy .

personally I only smoke these days
but I have been known to do some powder when I was younger and one thing you learn is never buy unless you know the dealer
the free line would have been good but what you bought after that would be talc at best Thumbs Up

TBH the quality of coke these days is shocking from what I see

I've had mates claiming they know a guy locally selling really great stuff, loads better than all the rest. And how do they know it's better? "Because it's £100/gram so it's obviously good quality and I've tried it and could tell it was good stuff."

Not for that price! Rolling Eyes

If you order from the darknet, it's the best quality you're likely to come across in the UK. Top sellers have 3000+ 5/5 feedback score, its pretty self regulating in that if you're selling weak gear you're gonna be out of business very quickly. Price is fairly reasonable as well.

yes you can get good stuff if you know where to shop
I did buy some bud a while back via the darknet but it quickly dried up and a lot more scams appeared
these days I don't use the darknet at all as I feel its been compromised by LEO Wink

I get offered coke etc whilst I'm working, once whilst I was sitting in a library, and the dealer wanted my number for some reason. Also had these guys offer me some in front of coppers, I'm beginning to think drug dealers might not be the smartest Thinking

99% of dealers are using too much of their own product to fund their habit Thumbs Up

My first time out in Oxford. Literally having got out of my brothers car and walking to the meeting place a local tries to offer weed. That was my first ever human interaction in that city.

My job has random compulsory drugs testing so obviously it's a no go area for me.

My favourite so far was being offered a multi-buy deal on weed by some kid new to the area I was living.

I've been offered all kinds of stuff on the street in b'ham. Though not once weed, the only thing I'd consider buying from someone I don't know.

How long have you been in Liverpool?

It's a fairly common occurrence.

When I used to go to the Ruskin Arms it was the other way round.

Posh people used to park outside, send one of their number in to buy something and the buggers seemed to always home in on me to make their purchase. Wasting their time, I think taking a paracetamol for a headache is living on the edge.

But is darknet stuff bought by private users, or is it bought in bulk by dealers who cut it then sell on?

Surely Darwinism will kick in eventually and these sort of idiots will wipe themselves out by getting arrested or something?

Buying from strangers or being offered "stuff" in pubs and bars is not a new thing.
A friend of mine who knew nothing about "having a smoke" bought a OXO stock cube wrapped in cling-film in the early 80`s from a guy in a pub.
I was only after he unwrapped it to try and smoke some he realised he had been had.
We still take the piss out of him now if we see him Laughing

Laughing Yeah I may have friends who once inadvertently bought some oregano, with a tiny piece of bud perched on top to give it some realistic smell Laughing

I'm a long way past the scene now but it seems to me things have changed in the way drugs are dealt. It seems to me dealers used to be in it for themselves, by themselves by way of ever increasing social circles and the drugs 'pushed' themselves. The risk being you get caught on your way back or to somewhere or you got raided or robbed.

It appears now that 'dealers' are desperate users who have got behind on tick and have to deal to pay back what they owe, taking the risks on behalf of their dealer and on it goes in this way.

Maybe it was always like this I just didn't understand it then. Either way it's a world I want fuck all to do with. It's a big statement, but users of illegal drugs have blood on their hands.

There is no typical dealer.

Not going to bite on your claim that drug users have blood on their hands. Laughing
