Border checks France and Belgium

Howdy,

I was wondering if anybody know if there are cross border checks (or websites to check to find out) between France and Belgium on the A16 road? I'm going on a baccii run next Sunday (anybody lives in Kent and wants to tag along be my guest)

The reason I am asking is because I heard on the news that Belgium imposed checks after the Paris attacks. I don't know how to check if they are still doing this.

I could be reading it wrong, i barely read it but I think it suggests checks are in place

we had ours checked @ ijmuiden .. looked like police to me rifled through every page goin in and uk customes goin out .. ..

minor inconveniences if it helps keep imigrants out...
