Hiya all,

I'm having a hell of a time trying to source some final parts for my current custom project. It's a 1978 Kawasaki Z250a. Engine is stripped, valves lapped in, head ported and polished, barrel honed and new pistons Razz . However... I can't find standard piston rings and I've had nothing but hassle sourcing valve stem oil seals. I've so far returned 2 sets as they have been the incorrect size. I'm looking for 5.5mm opening but keep getting 6.5mm delivered. The 6.5 is too big for my valves.

Any help would be AMAZING as i can't turn back now. 2 years in the designing and planning and the frame is away last week to be modified and my engineer has already completed matching to fork legs and yokes and he is just waiting on the correct valve stem seals before he completes the head. Part numbers for these would also be really nice as I keep getting varying results.

Thanks in advance. Very Happy

Bert

Jeeezuz! Shocked

Thanks for that and I fully admit that I'm well below average when searching the net.
Thanks for that mate. I'm also on the hunt for cam chain guides/ slippers as I've just noticed that mine both gave heavy scores in them. Do you have any links for these?

Thanks again. Very Happy
