Divorce rights / alimony for partners?
Quote:

The proposed legislation will allow cohabiting couples with children, or those without children who have cohabited for two years or more, the right to apply for a Financial Settlement Order. An applicant will need to show that s/he has suffered either an economic disadvantage or that their partner has retained a benefit as a result of a qualifying contribution they have made.

As the old saying goes, “there’s no such thing as a free lunch”; an applicant must show they have made a qualifying contribution to the family. This does not have to be financial and includes “other contributions” which benefit the parties or the family in other ways, such as contributing to their general welfare.

Shocked

quite a few countries already do this.

The next step is to make the cohabiting partner financially liable in perpetuity for any of his partners bastards who are not his.

Why is the state utterly dismantling all the social constructs?

People get taken to the cleaners (4-5 have been utterly destroyed on BCF). So they don't get married. So now they are put into lose lose situations.

Live with bro(s) for dem cheap shared living costs.
Proceed to shag/date women as usual.

If you aim isn't to raise a family etc, then you don't really need much money to get by. I'm working a just above min wage job, living in a shared house with cheap rent. I'm pretty close to being able to work through winter and store enough money to go travelling for 6 months in the summer. So about 50:50 work:play over the year.

It does involve basically not having a life, and working lots of hours in the winter though but will be worth it. I think in October I had 4 days off.

Despite what the feminista would have you believe, low ranking males have always been expendable drones to provide for women, children, serve as cannon fodder for the state/liege lord etc etc.

This isn't really any different, it' just that the brainwashing that permits the average joe to be treated like the beast of burden he is is starting to lose it's grip and people begin to recognise the raw deal society gives them.

Now that the barrage of shame (not doing the RIGHT thing, deadbeat, shitlord) doesn't work, the old weapon of legal coercion is back again.

Better be two or more bros, because the legislation applies to any unrelated "couple", gender irrelevant, and doesn't define how much "coupling" needs to be going on.

May need a pre-non-nuptial agreement.

I might have the wrong end of the stick but I thought you already had this shit. If you live with someone for a year or something isn't it the same as getting married?
