Pilot street radials at about 100 quid pair less than pilot road 4's. I did a thread recently which had a lot of good input. I ended up buying PR4'S, however I haven't used them yet. I swapped out the wheels off my crashed bike with nearly new street radials on them and had the PR4's and in the meanwhile I've put hundreds of miles on the street radials and yet to have them slip or skid like I did when they were new so I'm wearing them down a bit to get some use out of them before putting them back on the Insurance bike.
I guess what I'm saying is if you want to save a few quid fit them but give yourself a much longer period of scrubbing them in.

Haven't tried any of the others, but the PR4 wet grip is on another level to the BT-023 I had on before.

PR3s have excellent wet and dry performance. I have them fitted to three of my bikes.

I've used both Pilot Street and PR3.

For you, with the type of all weather riding that you do, I would go for the PR3s without question. As others have said, wet weather grip is excellent, they feel really solid and give a lot of confidence.

I put them on my FZ6 and it transformed the handling, made it feel much more stable and planted in corners. A really good tyre and woth a few quid extra.

I think the Pilot Street is aimed at more performance / sunny weather.

Obviously roads are do it all tyres. Stupidly I think I would have preffered Pilot streets on my bike as I only ride in half decent weather.

Can't fault my PR3's though, wouldn't know any better.

I thought Pilot Streets were small bike tyres? Good enough on a YBR but difficult to compare to a PR3.

Pilot Street is the budget small bike range, and the max speed rating (P - H = 93-130mph) is well below the top end of a 600. The maximum size is 150 width. Do not use. If you need a small bike tyre, Pirelli DR2's are excellent.

Pilot power are sports. Probably good, in my opinion unnecessary for road use, they'll just wear quicker.

Pilot road, availaable in 1, 2, 3 and 4.
1 - single compound? older design? never tried it. Same price as PR2's.
2 - My tyre of choice. Grippy, lasts a very long time.. 10k miles +. Good for fast even in cold weather. Thumbs Up
3 - Slightly less good than 2's, in my opinion, and cost 20 quid more.
4 - Not tried them, supposed to be harder and 20% more life, but cost an extra 30 quid. Not worth it.
