honda cbr125 lever replacement

hi guys

have a bent clutch lever and need to re-fit, it looks very similar to how you would change one on a bike but just wondering if anyone had link to a video or info which covers it on a cbr125? i watched a few videos on youtube for other hondas so would guess it would be quite similar

For the clutch lever, it is basically exactly the same as changing a lever on a bicycle, you just have to make sure to adjust the clutch cable correctly when you fit the new one, to keep the correct amount of free play at the lever. (No free play can make your clutch slip and burn it out, too much free play can stop the clutch fully disengaging when you pull the lever and will make for clunky gearchanges and stalling going in to 1st).

I can't remember how the gear lever is held on: Are you sure you can't bend it back in to place? The clutch lever will be aluminium and will snap if you try and bend it too much, but iirc the gear lever is steel, so you should be able to bend it back with a bit of brute force.
