Hi All
Just taken out insurance and stated I had a mammoth ground anchor... They said (on the phone) that it is on their thatcham approved list, but I think they thought I meant the bolt in one (this one: https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_rev/74307
but I actually meant this one:

I've tried searching the web to see if my in-concrete one is thatcham or Sold Secure approved, but I cant see anything... Does anyone know?
If it isnt approved, it seems crazy to me that a bolt in one is approved, yet one sunk into solid concrete is not approved, but I'm no expert!
Thanks for any help |

I believe I think I'm not sure if you may be worrying over perhaps nothing.
It's your contract, we don't know what you said or what was said to you.
Do you want reassurance? It's fine, get on with your life.
Do you want assurance? Talk to your insurer and get it in writing, unambiguously.
Do you want to know what you should have done? Not declared anything unless it was the only way to get affordable insurance, and certainly not made any assumptions about it. Adding an Almax/squire to a quote put my cheapest price up by 1/3rd.
Best of luck. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
