Anyone know the width of a Yamaha Fazers handlebars?? 99 to be precise?

Just to make sure I can get it through the back gate into the shed

Hacksaw, or buy narrower bars to fit and swap them over. They're pretty much universal and I've narrowed the bars on all my bikes.

I keep reading reviews praising wide bars, and I'm like, "Bro, do you even filter?"

I filter with my FZ1 wide, flat bars very easily, thank you very much Thumbs Up

OEM ones are width 66cm without bar ends, 715mm with OEM bar ends. Note many Fazers have Renthal 758 bars fitted. Renthals without bar ends are more or less like the OEMs with bar ends.

Wide bars give more leverage for turning in and aid control when the bike wheelies under power.

Bro do you even ride fast?
